CLIENTS

I  collaborate with organisations that have noble goals that aim to help people and the planet. Be that for charities, NGOs, academics or responsible brands, the key is that I support the purpose of the project.

I grew up between South Africa and England. My father is Gujarati Indian and my mother is Geordie English - a classic mix. My nomadic and unique upbringing has meant I have often viewed the world with an outsider’s perspective. This dynamic has fuelled my creativity, as I feel like an observer and an imitator. I studied Digital Film Production at Ravensbourne University and I have been directing and editing films for ten years. Recently, I have worked on a number of exciting projects, for example; directing music videos and short films in Ghana, filming for USAID in Sri Lanka, editing materials for the UN and the WFP for a UK Aid funded project, co-directing a feature documentary about Mormonism in Poland and Denmark, winning the Cultura Inquieta short film competition for my film ‘Recycle and Reimagine’ and making a range of personal experimental short films.

I am a film director who is driven by contradictions. My films capture the brutality and beauty of life set usually in a world of expressive realism. I make films to remind myself and subsequently viewers that we are all loving, suffering and living. I make films to make sense of a world that often does not make sense.
